What Customers Say About Super Hits of the '70s: Have a Nice Day, Vol. 24:

The series has been uneven, but on the whole, I never regretted buying any of them except this one, and I have the whole set. I came of age in the 70's, and loved the music. I never even heard of most of these songs.

I have been searching for this song for a while, & I finally found it, the rest of the songs really don't fit my taste, but I was very happy to have this one song from it's original artist.

I know these two songs because of a girlfriend that I had at the time. I didn't pay attention to pop radio again til I joined the Air Force and started watching MTV in the dayroom at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. This is my second least favorite CD of the entire "Have a Nice Day" series. But, that's expected when you consider that they've probably got nothing much left to work with that are obscure "one hit wonders" from the late seventies. While people my age were listening to this type of pop music, I was discovering Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, Pink Floyd, and Yes. This Volume 24 has no album rock tracks. All I really knew was "Emotion" by Samantha Sang (very Bee Geeish) and "Feels So Good" by Chuck Mangione.

My God, this crap was topping the charts. The high charting "Hey Deanie" by Shaun Cassidy (remember "The Hardy Boys."), and "Heaven on The 7th Floor" by Paul Nicholas (remember "Lisztomania") are sickening.

When the era of the Disco Bee Gees started to take off, I started listening to album Rock radio. I'm glad I left AM Pop radio.

Second to Volume 18 because although all the tracks here are the original radio-friendly edits, the selections really do stink. I never heard the other songs on the radio, ever.

I wish this CD was the last one so I can easily get rid of it and just say that "Have a Nice Day" was only 24 volumes. I really didn't follow Top 40 Radio after 1976 anyway.

Much of it was very oblivious to me when I bought this CD.

Can't beat the price, however the music is priceless. A must have for 70's music lovers.

To my suprise all the other songs on the CD turned out to be great also. This CD was the only thing I could find that had the song Makin' It on it. There is no other out there.
